Looks like this right now, but I'm not worried. I've found that so many worms get in over the winter that I don't bother cleaning before closing. I just make sure I close before the leaves drop.

If you don't have a shady place to keep it when it is off the pool, put an opaque cover over it to keep the sun off it. Mine came with a thin sheet of opaque plastic to cover it when it is rolled up. It gets extremely hot inside a rolled or folded up cover in the sun. Mine has been on my pool...
