No. I have a auto cleaner but it only does the bottom. No feeders just use bleach, muratic acid and cya.

Opened the pool and found a black ring around everything at water level. The stains were mild last year and easily removed with Magic Eraser but after sitting all winter the stains are pretty bad. What could be causing this and can it be prevented?

Just curious, How old is your PH reagent? Only time I saw ruby red was when mine had gone bad. Is the reagent bottle stained red?

I have to make a confession. I didn't make this burger. Picked up the handle HamburgerChef many years ago playing Quake3 online. Made my opponents into hamburger hence the name. I do make a pretty decent smoked pork shoulder though.

My pool is about a month old so I can't really say what is normal for it. I have used the cover sporadically and we have had unusually cloudy days for most of that time anyway. I can say that for the first 3 weeks it was like clockwork. Test would be 2ppm at night so I added 2 cups of 10% each...

I just rechecked FC. Here is the rundown for today. 9:30 am PH 8.2 FC 0.5 TA 250 CYA 25 10:30 am Added 3lb dry acid and 6 cups 10% bleach. This should have brought FC to 3.5. Didn't test to make sure though. :swim: 6:00 pm PH 7.8 Added 1 gallon Muriatic Acid 20 baume and 9oz Cyanuric...

Just put in the first gallon of Acid. It got my PH to 7.1. Then added 9 ounces of Cyanuric. Should put me at 30. Have the return frothing up the water pretty good.

At the bottom it says there is an extra calculator. Easy to miss it since its not colored. It says add 4.5 gallons of 20 baume. Although it says that its not accurate if your TA is outside of 80-120. I will buy 6 gallons to start and see where that gets me.

I am going to the store to buy 20 baume muiratic acid. How much do you think it will take to bring my TA down to 80? it comes in 1 gallon jugs.

Do you mean between the target and minimum FC levels in the pool calculator :?: I added 3lb of dry acid today. Going to the store to buy miuratic acid soon.
