    Badly mangled Pentair check valve flapper

    My son had a pool installed last summer (2014). We noticed deterioration of one of the Pentair 263042 Check-Valve flappers within a couple of months, even before he used his heater. It is hot in Houston during the summer, so the heater was only used for the first time later in the Fall...
