    Problem with Sta-Rite SR400NA Heater

Thanks for the explanation, makes more sense now. "You should go back to your heater and open it up and inside the silver box where there is a fuse, you should have a jumper wire. Remove that wire and then wire(2 wire) the automation system to that. Set your heater to pool or spa and set the...

    Problem with Sta-Rite SR400NA Heater

What I noticed that is different between the hayward h400idl2 heater and the starite sr400na is that when the hayward is placed into remote control mode, the user has no access to the onboard temperature controls so therefore no need to set the heater temp higher than the automation controller...

    Problem with Sta-Rite SR400NA Heater

Hi I found a burst of energy and went out in the utility yard and finished up the wiring and water temp sensor installation in the heater inlet line. Please forgive the low quality images, they were taken after 10pm while my cell battery was dead and I could not use the built in flash. You...

I just replaced the old hayward H400idl2 heater with a used Sta-Rite SR400NA Heater. After checking the new plumbing for leaks and purging all the air I fired the heater and everything was running normally. After running for about 3 hours I had wife check on heater and she claimed that the temp...

Not a DIY build. The pool was built in 2008 but was never finished. Pool builder has moved to another part of the state. I did make an effort to have him finish the pool last year but wee were not able to reach an agreement on the price. And after checking out his installation and electrical...

Best way to determine the thickness of the bottom of the pool shell

Hi Does anyone know the best way to determine the thickness of the bottom of the shotcrete pool shell. The shell has not been plastered yet. I have some exposed rebar in the bottom of the pool and while repairing it found out that the thickness in that area is only 3-4 inches. I would like to...

finishing a new old pool, plaster? fiberglass? shallowing

Hi I have a 17 x 35 play style pool that was constructed in early 2008. Due to many circumstances the pool was never finished. The pool construction project stopped right after pre plaster inspection, and has sat in this state since. The pool is shotcrete not gunite. I have always pumped any...
