I have cya trouble myself. 20,000 gal in ground, 1hp evenflo pump, Hayward de filter. Cya over 100 and I have already dropped the water level over one foot and refilled and I'm still over 100. The pool store told me to drop another 2 feet and refill. Yikes. We are in a drought here in CA...

Thank you for your help. My FC was off and I found a loose connection which was allowing air in the system.

Hayward recommended this filter for my inground 22,000 gal pool. I am only getting 2 months between total cleanings. This seems too much. The back charge does not buy me anything. The filter when opened shows very little algae and the tubes rinse to white with plain water. The pump is a 1...
