Good morning. This is my second year owning Wanda for my Intex pool. Last year she was a workhorse. This year, all she wants to to is to run to one section, stay there, and go in circles. It doesn't matter where I start her at, she keeps going there. Anyone else ever have the same issue...

Good morning fellow pool owners. Anyone use waterproof tape on Intex pool joints to prevent corrosion?

I have that fountain and use it all the time. It's fine.

I have the 16x48 with dual outlets. I do not have any problems with the hoses leaking. Are the clamps tightened all the way?

Not sure if this is the same situation as you would find yourself in with an Intex, but if it is, you should definitely get the creases out when there are only a few inches of water in the pool.

Sorry for not responding to this thread sooner...it's been one of those days. Turns out my son partially closed the return valve causing this issue. Now it doesn't get stuck at all. Thank you all again.

Greetings all. I just purchased the Intex robot and really like it. But since my liner has some creases that I wasn't able to get out, it frequently becomes stuck. My pool is off within the 1" tolerance, so I never fixed it. I am using the Intex 2100gph sand filter with a new salt water...

What Darrel B said. Vaseline the threads and gaskets and you should be AOK.

I have the same pool and configured it with one over the wall skimmer. I have a 2100gph sand filter that I am not sure it's strong enough for the pool. But it will do for now. On my old pool, 14x42, the set up worked perfectly.

Okay, I finally got my fittings to stop leaking. How I did it, was by putting on a LOT of teflon tape as well as plumbing dope. I know it's not really made for this situation, but it was the only thing that stopped the leaking. Like I said before, I hate plumbing and my results aren't too...

The connections finally came in. Unfortunately, they leak a little bit. To the plumbers here, can I silicone the fitting since the Teflon tape isn't 100%?

Mine is up and running, with the cover on. Too cold and too much junk from the trees.

I didn't get notification that you responded to this. Thank you very much for the link to that since I tried it the other way and the gaskets were leaking worse than Bush's CIA.
