    Maytronics Dolphin swivel question

Now that seems like a viable alternative if I had a dedicated suction line. Unfortunately I do not have one. Wish there was a way to add one but it seems like it would be an expensive undertaking as there is no way to access my pool plumbing because of the concrete decking. What I meant by a...

    Maytronics Dolphin swivel question

That's a lot of money per year but looking at the big picture, it makes sense even though I don't like it one bit. My personal experience has been that with my pool, equipment, and frequency of use, I run the Dolphin several times a day, and by the time I get home, I at most have to use a net to...

    Maytronics Dolphin swivel question

I hear you Steve, and I have had very good experiences with them as well. They have replaced the control unit 2 previous times where they just sent me a replacement, however when it was suspected the cable was at fault on the 3rd warranty claim they said it needed to be taken to a local dealer...

    Maytronics Dolphin swivel question

I was hoping maybe there was a plug and play option. I hadn't looked closely at the existing white joint that I thought was the swivel. I was hoping perhaps it could be disassembled from there and a swivel screwed in its place. If it requires cutting the cable, I agree with you, probably not a...

    Maytronics Dolphin swivel question

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered. I searched and could not find. I have a Dolphin S300 pool robot. About 4 or 5 months ago I had a local pool supply company repair it under warranty. The 2 year warranty has since expired. They replaced the power supply/control unit and the...

    Dolphin wheels!

I am sure most of you with Maytronics pool cleaners have dealt with this at one time or another. Its my turn now. My Dolphin S300 has stopped working yet again for the 4th time. Three times it was the control unit, once the blue cable, and now its out of warranty. I don't think it would matter...

Pentair Intellichlor IC40 check light flashing green

No it does not have a salt test on it. I got a little digital tester pen looking thing a while back to test against the Pentair equipment accuracy. They are usually within 100 ppm of each other.

Pentair Intellichlor IC40 check light flashing green

The salinity I measure once a week, usually Wednesdays via a Poolmaster 5 way kit and of course what my Screenlogic app reports. The last time I measured with the kit it was in the 3800 range. That was last week and yes, its a little high but with the cell not working I thought it was perhaps...

Pentair Intellichlor IC40 check light flashing green

Thanks for the reply Jim. I did reach out to Pentair via their online form but haven't heard back yet. I am sure calling them will probably be faster but they are closed by the time I leave the office. Checked my paperwork and the "in service date" actually puts the age of the cell at a year and...

Pentair Intellichlor IC40 check light flashing green

Yes, the salt level is fine, maybe a little high but all chemicals are within specs. I suppose the cell could have died prematurely. It is literally a little over 2 years old and only 40% used.

Pentair Intellichlor IC40 check light flashing green

Yes, all equipment was registered. Pentair has repaired LED lights recently under warranty.

Pentair Intellichlor IC40 check light flashing green

I apologize in advance as I imagine this has been asked and answered a thousand times but I could not find an answer after searching the threads. My setup - 18k saltwater fiberglass pool with Pentair Intellitouch/Screenlogic automation and of course the IC40 salt cell. So recently during my...

    Help with Screen Logic automation

I have the Pentair Easy Touch panel with the Screen Logic 2 automation system. What I am wondering is if its possible to program into the schedules for my variable speed pump to run at different speeds? I have learned through YouTube videos how to use most of my equipment, but that one...

Info I've learned and I want to share about Pentair LED pool lighting

Hey, thanks for the reply! So my lights are actually the Microbrites. Pentair did in fact send out a crew but they weren't actual Pentair techs, just a local Pentair authorized repair company. They initially arrived to repair "one light" even though I described to Pentair the fact that one light...
