    Polaris 360

Hi, Sorry can't comment on the Polaris 360 as I'm not familiar with that cleaner. However, I also have a 30' round above ground and this spring I purchased a Smart Pool Nitro Wall Climber robot pool cleaner. Absolutely love it! It definitely gets to the middle of the pool. I was a little...

Above ground pool robot cleaner question

Sorry for the late reply... We are looking at the Nitro and I think that will be the robot working in our pool this year. Thanks

Above ground pool robot cleaner question

Hey folks, We are a mere four months away from swimming here in Manitoba, and we are looking for a robot cleaner. Can we use an inground cleaner like the aquabot turbo in our AGP?

I found your pics, looks like a successful install too! They are awesome, my Dad's tractor with front end loader was awesome as well :) Enjoy your pool.

    Installing AG pool need advice!!!

Hi, sorry for the late reply. The wall is a heavy beast. I used a 3/4" thick piece of plywood with straps hooked onto it to pull the wall around the pool. Me, my wife and our two teenagers were all needed to put the wall up. The instructions to use the cardboard to move it around were beyond...

    Installing AG pool need advice!!!

Good pool choice! We installed that exact pool in May. You may have done a better job of reading the instructions than I did  but in the case that you didn't, the biggest "If I knew then what I know now" for me was not realizing that the v-bead liner could be converted to a slip bead...

    New pool test results...

After following the advice on this forum and via the Pool Calculator I am happy to say that our water is clear and sparkling! As of 9:30 last night: T/A - 130 PH - 7.2 Cl - 4 - 5 We aerated all night again and I am assuming that this morning our PH will be closer to 7.5 and all will be well with...

    New pool test results...

The rain is still falling, the PH is now 7.5, FC is 6 ppm and the T/A has dropped to 350 The pool calculator is asking for 6 liters of muriatic acid. We have four liters (should have bought more, but who knew?) It seems like a lot, and we would like some confirmation before pouring it in. Does...

    New pool test results...

Will do, the last thing we want now is an algae bloom. The lazy, Friday-off pot of coffee has already warmed me up :)

    New pool test results...

Hello, We received our test kit and these are the first numbers we got: FC - 7 ppm CC - 0.5 ppm pH - 7.2 T/A - 370 CYA 35 The water is pretty clear, we can see the bottom, but it is slightly cloudy which I am guessing is a result of the high T/A. We used the trichlor pucks that came with...

    Solar Heat Panels

I am guessing that I need to put in a bypass as well. Would it be as simple as T-ing in a shutoff valve between the inlet and outlet pipes right before the panels or do I need to buy something else?

    Solar Heat Panels

Well that's good to know, thanks.

    Solar Heat Panels

We bought the 3 panel 2'x20 SunGrabber panel kit with our pool, I got it hooked up yesterday and there is a noticeable drop in flow. The pressure gauge on the filter jumped from 9 psi to 17 psi and the water volume through the return dropped a lot. However, the water was warmer coming through...

    GlowBuoy pics

We threw our Glowbouy in last night, and it worked great. However, it threw into sharp relief all the footprints on our pool bottom. Our pool bottom is now called the moon scape :)
