Thanks for all the replies :!: :!: We ended up going with the rebar suspended off the #57 base around the circumference of the pool . They we will back in a few days to do the control joints :lol: Thanks for all the great advice from everyone :party:

As far as the compaction issue I should have added the concrete is going on top of #57 rock base , if this makes a difference.......

Keith, Our pool is a double roman . We are doing our concrete as follows:Side One is 3 1/2 ft with 4ft on the radius , deep end 5 ft , step end 5 ft and then Side Two will be 4ft with a deck drain and then a 4 foot patio butting up to deck drain. Thanks for any advice!
