JamesW, thanks for the quick reply. Understood, I need to replace that broken part. I was wondering if I could proceed with the pool opening or do I need to render the repair first? Do I need to be concerned with water getting beind the liner, etc? If that's just cosmetic, I'll go ahead...

Hello all. Opening our pool today, I noticed last fall our pool service must have over-tightened the eyelet plugs damaging them. Am I ok turning the pump on to get the pool opened, or do I need to get this repaired first? Can you tell from just images? Thanks in advance for your opinions!
