The strainer basket is clean and i left the strainer basket in while vacuuming. It is a intex vacuum that you screw on to the intake inside the pool it didnt say remove the strainer.The pump seems to be running fine and the pressure is good it just has i little bit of air in there that wasnt...

Yesterday after using a vacuum in the pool for the first time i now notice there is air in the strainer just a little on top. It was filled all the way to the top before using the vacuum and i cant seem to get it back to full. Is it a big deal?

And you are right i really cant tell the difference between the 3-6 color and the 5-10 color.

so if three days in my oto chlorine test shows 3-5 is it safe to assume i have no cc?

is the hth chlorine/bromine test the same as free chlorine test?

The intex pool book says to add 1.7 lbs so i put it in a sock but it dosent seem to be dissolving very quick. I just moved the sock in front of the water jet today to help dissolve it. Im not quite sure how much bleach to add. This might sound stupid but the pool calculator is kinda confusing...
