Hmm, cloudiness gone this morning. It doesn't appear that anything has settled on the floor but I'll have to investigate further this evening.

I will have to take it apart tomorrow and check them. So, now that I have DE in the pool…what do I do about it?

I didn't think anything was damaged but I suppose it's entirely possible.

Maybe cartridge wasn't the correct word? It's a DE filter, though.

I took apart and cleaned the filter cartridges. After getting everything back together, I added DE into the skimmer. Next thing I know, it's all shooting out of the returns. What happened? How do I fix it?

I believe I've found the leak in both the inlet pipe junction and the seal on the pump basket. The pump basket seems like a pretty straight-forward repair in replacing the gasket. On the inlet pipe, is there a way to repair this without replacing the pipe?

So just use liquid chlorine or bleach for the FC and stabilizer/conditioner to raise the CYA...got it.

I may have found the leak...hopefully. A little water spits out of the inlet to the pump basket when the pump is turned on/off. Also, the outlet pipe above the pump seems to be leaking water too. Will that cause the bubbles?
