    Is my SWG cell failing?

So it sees the -1900 as the salinity and stops producing FC? I will order a new cell today from Amazon prime and hopefully have it in 2-3 days. Should I switch the polarity again to keep it producing in the meantime? Thanks for the assistance from both of you!!

    Is my SWG cell failing?

Hello all, I have a Hayward Aqua Rite SWG with T-15 cell. I believe the equipment & cell are 10 years old. The display on the SWG shows the salt level at 2800 but my Taylor K-1766 test shows the salt level to be 4000. I ran a full battery of tests this morning with my TF-100 test kit and FC...

    New pump not working

Quick update - the owner of the local pool store came out yesterday afternoon and looked at the pump. He couldn't find the problem with the pump so he wound up replacing it for me. I'm up and running now! Thanks for all the replies to my questions!

    New pump not working

Thanks. I'll go back to the store tomorrow and talk to them. I'm definitely no electrician so I was just hoping I hadn't done something dumb to burn it up! Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk

    New pump not working

Bought a new pump motor today. Wired it up and ran it long enough to check for leaks. I then pumped water to waste for about 10 minutes to lower the level of water in the pool. I then turned the pump back off to move the valve back to filter. When I went to turn the pump back on -...

    Fire ants in the pump!!

Opened the pool this weekend. When I went to fire up the pump...nothing! I started checking around the pump and realized that fire ants had built a mound by the pump and they were in the electrical side of the pump. I have taken steps to kill the little buggers but I hope this can be an easy...

    LPS Facebook posts...just for fun!

The Pool Store - "Pool tip of the day" are you checking the active ingredients of your shock before you put it in your pool? Key words to look for in your "Active Ingredients" are: Di-chlor (salt based, 58% active chlorine) Calcium (calcium based, 73% active chlorine) Beware of "Tri-chlor"...

Best brush for IG vinyl liner

I have a Polaris and it keeps the pool clean, but when my pool needs a little extra brushing, I use a Wall Whale brush. The fin on the brush provides resistance to keep the brush firmly against the pool wall or floor. This operation is much less physical than having to hold the pole brush...
