tbeth No I did not interpret it to mean that you have to run a boost cycle on start-up if your chlorine level is within proper range. I think they talk about the doing the boost cycle if you have no chorine and just put up a new pool. The wording is a little confusing at best.

My concern there would be on cloudy days that the Solar System does not kick in. Would the SWG come on and the pump would not come on. Could this damage the SWG or do they (any brand) not turn on if there is no water flow detected? Sorry for all the questions but want to do it right the first time.
