    Pump GFCI keeps tripping

Here is what Pentair had to say....to then recommend their brand breaker which unfortunately only comes in Siemens type (and my panel is CH type): "Variable Speed pumps will commonly do this with standard GFCI breakers. You will need to switch the breaker out with one that has a minimum of a 6...

    Pump GFCI keeps tripping

    - Over the last 3 weeks, GFCI breaker has tripped 3 times (yesterday was during a dry/calm day while pump running at only 1400 rpm - a couple days after I siliconed around the junction box thinking maybe moisture was getting in box during rain...to rule that out). - 4 weeks ago installed a new...

Confirm guidance on new pool pump electric

Makes sense..with load having the "potential" to go to 13.2 (above the 80% rule of breaker) Guessing will stay with 110 wiring and get 20A GFCI breaker. Then gives me option to remove GFCI outlet but still drawing a blank on locking plug/socket option unless those 220v style locking...

Confirm guidance on new pool pump electric

I agree...nothing special (only a single 20' skimmer', 30' main drain, and one return) so calculators show 1 HP is plenty. My main trigger was electric company rebate and older pump. Ideas to finish water line - top of Hybrid pool wall

After exhausting any tiles options with contractors, I went with last resort of a water line border and am very happy with the results...to add color and hide metal strip. Got lucky on design to be able to cut it (and cost) in half and larger tile is on strip. Adhered pretty well and ran a...

Ideas to finish water line - top of Hybrid pool wall

Looking for ideas to finish the water line of fiberglass wall... - Last summer, new pool deck patio was installed with cantilever edge coping on top of the wall (attached picture). - Required us to remove the old rubber coping that covered the top of the fiberglass wall and metal strip (attached...

Anyone Ever Heard of "Hybrid" Pools?

I know old post, but I used that re-gelcoat product on my hybrid pool walls over 7 years ago. - prior to that, gel coat had worn off so would cause itchy skin for anyone who rubbed against the walls. - I considered a paint option, but knew it would be short-term fix or require redo in 3-4 years...
