Pentair Tagelus TA100D Seal with Tank

I thought about a wood tool build, but the strap wrench may be more versatile in the long run. Thanks!

Pentair Tagelus TA100D Seal with Tank

JamesW, Thanks, but that appears to be the 6" version ,rather than the 8.5" version as here which is $242. https://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352029063.htm

Pentair Tagelus TA100D Seal with Tank

And, Is there a recommended make/model of strap wrench? (The one I have for automotive oil filter removal is definitely too small.)

Pentair Tagelus TA100D Seal with Tank

Also, I have used an open-ended wrench before to unscrew the nut on this clamp. That is a long & painful way of doing it. Do any of you with experience of this clamp know of any drill attachment that would fit to make the job quicker?

Hayward Aquanaut 400 - gathers bubbles, floats up

Hayward Aquanaut 400 - gathers bubbles, floats up

Hayward Aquanaut 400 went on its maiden voyage this weekend. Similar models are the Hayward Phoenix X4, and the Hayward/Poolvergneugen 'The PoolCleaner' 4-wheel). The pool bottom was fairly silty but without leaves etc., after an initial manual vac to waste 10 days ago.) Aquanaut 400...
