Ted you got it! There was a leak at the pipe fitting where it attaches to the pump. But I did have to pay for a service call , I didn't want to crack the pipe trying to loosen it,bummer but oh well... Thanks to all of you for your replys and suggestions,. So glad I found this site.:) Sally

thanks will give it a try...one thing I am noticing is that there is an increase in the airbubbles in the pump strainer after all is said and done seems like more than usual...is this a problem? Your response is much appreciated Thank you!
