I am a Baquacil convert and love BBB. I am trying to help my sister with her pool. It is cloudy...I know to continue to shock until it clears my question is ...her ph is 8.2....do we just clear it up first and then work on the ph? Thanks Deb

well I guess I don't worry about getting it 6 inches below the skimmer. I just leave the hose attached and let the water drain out that collects from the rain.

First Question...you can lower the water by unhooking the hose under the skimmer basket and just let it drain out. Second Question...I use a full cover not the net. It keeps leaves out and keeps sun light off the pool which causes algae to grow.If you have a lot of leaves you can put a net over...

In pool school it says before closing to get your pool to shock level and keep it there for 24 hours. I'm not exactly sure what that means..I know what shock level means...but what does it mean for 24 hours? do I test every few hours and add bleach for 24 hours? Thanks Deb :hammer:

what is your cc number? are you converting from Baqucil or just having problems with a cloudy pool?

That is what I have also been told. We have one in our pool but we just try not bother it,but I'm sure it would be ok to do what he said. I found a hole in my liner a few days ago...in the cove. bummer. Maybe if you don't want to tap it back,get a patch and put over it to make it stronger?
