    trying to get rid of mustard algae.

    I'm new to this site. I've been a pool owner for 25+ years and the mustard algae is getting worse and worse year after year. We backwash when vacuuming, but the mustard algae seems to creep back in. The sand in the filter was changed 2 years ago. HELP! please?
