Thanks. The gasket is fine. The filter seems to be in there like it is suppose to but when I put the top on is when the top looks a little higher on one side. I can't figure it out. :cry:

After cleaning the filter today it seems that even though I get it tight the thing doesn't leak it gushes. It feels like the cartridge is sitting correctly. I really don't know what is the problem. It seems that when I put the cartridge in that one side is a tiny bit higher. I don't know...

I don't replace my filter but clean it when it gets dirty and it isn't every week.

I have about the same size pool and I have to two wheel TPC. Had it about 2 years and love it.

I purchased mine from Suncoast about 15 or 16 years ago and still going strong. I have the sling chairs and love them with the pool as if you weren't swimming you aren't going to get wet when you sit.

Beautiful pool and you have a park like setting with all the tree's. Very pretty. I am considering the plumbago also as I have Christmas palms around my pool cage area and most died between last winter and the one before. I am tired of replacing them.

Sorry, I thought I said that. I use liquid chlorine. Only use pucks when I go on vacation.

Thanks. Leslie's tested and gave me this: FC 5+ PH 7.6 TA 120 CH 250 CYA 60 (just added on Sunday) TDS 1800 Phosphates 300 I have IG that is chlorinated with chlorine. Have a cartridge. It is 17,000 gallons.

I had the same problem when I purchased the product from Lowe's and that was before the rainy season. I then purchased from the pool store and so far so good and it has been raining every day.

I went to the pool store to get my water tested and he said that it is high in phosphates. I have owned a pool for 20 years and never heard of this. He said it is from the rain water. He said it is at 300. He said that I needed to add a bottle of Phos Free. I usually use Pool Doctor but...
