    load center question!

The shed has sheet metal walls, and sheet metal roof, I haven't had a drop of water in there yet. Mounting wise I can fabricate whatever I need for it. still havent found anything code related that says either way so I'm guessing the distance is all that matters.

    load center question!

Ive just finished installing a pump house (ok its a 10X10 shed, but its my pump house now!). Im going to be putting a loadcenter (breaker box) in the pump house i can have all my wireing done properly (it used be to be on extension cords, ugh). Ive read that load centers need to be 18" from...

    Leveling issue

I did the exact thing you are doing last year! Same amount of sand and pavers! Few things I learned, you dont need to be exact! You want the pavers to be fairly level, within 1 inch, the floor you want SMOOTH, level is not important as long as it's kinda close, these pools can strech quite...

    Remote temp sensor

Thats the problem i think we have all had with the ones that float in the pool, its impossible to keep them 100% dry, and especialy with a salt pool it dosnt take much to fry them :(

    Remote temp sensor

The pool probe im using is THC268, i like this one as only the probe is in the water, so no leaking and its weatherproof. base station is RMS600 The software that comes with it is ok, but i use weatherstation data logger attached is a graph of outdoor and indoor temps over the past 12 hours :P...

    Remote temp sensor

I went through 3 of the homedepot ones before I gave up on them. Last one I used silicone sealer everywhere, top and bottom, screws everything, still leaked. As for range pool is around 50ft away, and my oregon scientific sensor sits on the skimmer far side of the pool. Never have any signal...

    Remote temp sensor

I've tried a few and basically, 90% of them suck. Lacrosse everything is terrible, temps way off and not consistant. The pool flotie ones always leak and short out. Right now I'm using one from oreagon scientific, the rms600a with the separate water probe sensor. You get atomic clock, indoor...

source for a simpool PH or Seko Poolbasic PH unit in US?

Roughly (it'll be next year when I actually buy one) how much Would a seko with ph probe (similar to the simpool) cost? 200? 300?

source for a simpool PH or Seko Poolbasic PH unit in US?

Of all the equipment you could sell, I think a cheap, well made ph pump would be ideal! Are you planning on bringing some to tftestkits?

How to tell if you need more sand?

As far as I have noticed only first fill and this last refill not in between, however I've never really been looking for it, next backwash I'll do it where I can check for sand. Its a good idea to check for, I've had to lost sand somehow!

How to tell if you need more sand?

Well laterals looked good, sand was way way low, added a bag and a half I had laying around (gf used half a bag for plants!!). And when I did my first backwash I lost around 10 pound of sand so it was defiantly low! I filled to 10 inches, so I'm guessing it should be 11 or 12 inches on this...

How to tell if you need more sand?

Awesome thanks, think I'm gonna drain the sand and check the laterals while I've got it apart.

How to tell if you need more sand?

I'm gonna pop the top and check today, but im pretty sure it was closer to 20, good thing I bought extra sand last year! Is the 10 inches measured from top of downpipe, or top of filter?
