Pump motor trips main GFCI breaker after 2-10 minutes

Thanks guys. It's been in that configuration for 20 years. I'd like to avoid the expense of replacing all those breakers. It trips whether the other pumps are running or not. If it tripped immediately, I'd think I've got moisture somewhere. The fact that it runs a couple of minutes makes me...

Pump motor trips main GFCI breaker after 2-10 minutes

I have a 40A GFCI Breaker feeding a pool filter circulation pump, a polaris booster pump, and a pool fountain feature pump. Each is fed by it's own breaker downstream of the main 40A GFCI Breaker. The pool fountain feature pump is a whisperflo pump. It has a 3/4hp motor. It has run trouble free...

    Which is best SWG?

I have an AutoPilot PoolPilot Digital. If I was buying a new salt generator right now, I would likely buy this one: http://www.inyopools.com/compupool-cpx- ... rator.aspx

Need size for odd ball autopilot cell manifold

I was able to recover and reuse the fitting using this method: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfezjNDNxNo I had to repeat a few times, but it came right apart, just like in the video.

Need size for odd ball autopilot cell manifold

So I was in the process of replacing my tri sensor on my autopilot manifold. I dropped the manifold just right and it broke at the elbow. I built a replacement with a male end of a 1 1/2" union. It did not fit. The union size was too large. Obviously, the union fitting that the cell female end...

Any reason not to replace my old worn out Polaris w/ Legend?

Re: Any reason not to replace my old worn out Polaris w/ Leg After getting this recommendation in a PM and considering the large difference in price, I went ahead and ordered a legend. I really don't want to sink a bunch of money into my old polaris again. We'll see how it goes with the Legend.

Any reason not to replace my old worn out Polaris w/ Legend?

My old Polaris 380 is wearing out. Rather than rebuild it again, I looked around and found a new Legend for $374 on poolsupplyworld and found a mfg rebate of $100 on top of that. It seems like a no-brainer from an economics stand point. I can't seem to find any really bad reviews of the Legend...

Pool Pilot Failed in less than 3 yrs - What to buy now?

Well. I replaced the cell. It didn't make the problem go away. So I replaced the entire electronics box. The problem went away. The system ran great for a few days and then I started getting a "low flow" "OFF" indication. It appears that now the sensor or the cable/connector is now going bad...

Pool Pilot Failed in less than 3 yrs - What to buy now?

Ok. I ordered a replacement cell as you guys suggested. AutoPilot apparently offers a warranty of $75 towards replacement. I guess we'll see if the warranty is any good.

Pool Pilot Failed in less than 3 yrs - What to buy now?

I did a force reverse yesterday morning. The pixel was lit. The low amps alarm was going. I left town, got back this afternoon. I just checked it and the pixel was off and the alarm was gone. It appears to be running normally now. What do you make of this?

Pool Pilot Failed in less than 3 yrs - What to buy now?

I let it run reversed for about an hour and it still was showing low volts and amps.

Pool Pilot Failed in less than 3 yrs - What to buy now?

Here's what I got. In boost mode with no pixel after running for a while at 85F and 4300ppm, I checked and got 18V; 3.8A. I immediately checked it again and got 17V; 3.7A. I did a force reverse and let it run about a minute. This time there was a pixel and I read 17V; 3.5A.
