    Stenner pump parts in Canada

Thanks. Well, at least I'm not the only one. I have looked on Ebay - the import tax also gets you. And yes, USPS - agree on that. Right now, the injector is mounted kind of on a downward angle. I don't know why they did that. But, the duckbills do prevent water from coming out the injector...

    Colorlogic Light

I too would be interested in a simple light system. I have a large pool with many ColorLogic lights. They have a 1 year warranty and I find they last on average about 2-3 years at most. I have had to replace all of them except for the smaller ones. They are not worth the exorbitant price they...

    Stenner pump parts in Canada

Anyone know of a good place to buy Stenner parts in Canada? I usually get them off Amazon, but they are really expensive here. And sadly, I seem to go through parts often. I use it to inject acid, and I've had 3 tubes burst in the past two summers. When they burst, the acid fills up and the...

Replacing a Stenner injection check valve

Sorry - I just did some searching and found another thread - so this seems like how it works. Interesting. Felt like that backup into the pump would cause issues, but I guess not.

Replacing a Stenner injection check valve

I have a stenner pump for adding acid to my pool. The check valve just recently seized on me. I confirmed it was pumping fine until I hooked up the check valve - with the check valve on, nothing was getting through. So, I got replacement - exact same valve, verified it worked on the stenner...

Can SWG become less effective with age?

Thanks guys - yeah, confused. I swore I put this liquid stuff in last year and was over 70. No issues. I'm looking at the bottle, and it says - it's Canada, so all metric - 3.78L container will raise 40,000L pool from 0 to 32PPM. I've got about 100K L. I'm thinking - when I opened last 2 years...

Can SWG become less effective with age?

Hmm - or there isn't enough stabilizer in. I just did a test for CYA and it was under 50. I'm using this liquid stabilizer - based on my pool size and the instructions, I would need 6 jugs of that to get to 80. I definitely didn't add that much last year. The pool store looked at my like I was...

Can SWG become less effective with age?

Thanks - yeah, I can run that test. I had just slammed the pool, as it got cloudy after I had been running with the old settings since opening. That got rid of the CC. Upped the % and it's been clear and good. I hadn't thought it may still be something in there.

Can SWG become less effective with age?

Our T-CELL-15 is on it's 5th year. I've noticed this year, it seemed like I need it on a lot longer to keep the same levels as last year - about twice as long. I had one error message last week to check the cell. I cleaned it out. Message went away for now. I also gave it the acid bath when I...

New ColorLogic light will not join with the others in the AQL-COLOR-MODHV system

Thanks Adam - you are right. I checked and it was a standalone model: LPCUS11100 - same instructions as the others, no mention of standalone. I checked and I definitely gave them the LPCUN11100 model. The pool place said Hayward screwed up - of course, I still can't get hold of them. I filled...

New ColorLogic light will not join with the others in the AQL-COLOR-MODHV system

Do they even make a standalone model? It was the same model that was in previously - I gave them the exact model when it was repalced. And - the instructions that came with it look like this: https://www.hayward-pool.ca/pdf/manuals/UniversalColorLogicandCrystaLogic-InstallationandOperations.pdf...

New ColorLogic light will not join with the others in the AQL-COLOR-MODHV system

Too bad - I ended up resetting everything and all other lights were off the network and then did a find - and this one still doesn't get found. I changed the wiring just in case, but of course made no difference. For now - I just left it disconnected as I didn't want it on all the time. I guess...

    Pool Stairs and Pet Question

Okay - here's a picture. There are just over 2" thick and run about 5 feet long. They don't appear to mounted - I tried lifting and could feel it move. They are heavy, but there is some sort of felt or pad that sits between vinyl and the stone.

    Pool Stairs and Pet Question

One idea - might not be easy. Our pool is done like this, but it was built with this in mind. They built stairs covered in vinyl that go down into the pool and then laid long flagstone (I think) on top. So there's stone on top of the vinyl. There may be some sort of anchor not sure never tried...
