    How often should I clean my SWG?

    I have a Pentair IntelliChlor Chlorine Generator. It is brand new and it has a sensor that indicates it needs cleaning but has not turned on yet. Should I trust it or do a routine clean every six months?

    I have an estimated 25,000-30,000 gallon pool. I was looking at the chlorine bottle and it says 1 bottle per 10K gallons, so would putting in 2.5 bottles do the trick or should I put a little more such as 3.5 bottles?
