I've had pools my whole life. Dad was a teacher and worked at a pool place during summers when I was a kid. I've had 3 different pools of my own since 1991. The middle one was installed by the original homeowner in the 1980's and got too rusty by 2013 or so. Current pool is new, with one replacement liner ... ice crushed the cover one winter, bent the walls ... it wasn't pretty. My wife has sensitive skin, so we've tried a lot of different sanitation approaches. We settled on SWCG about 9 years ago. My first T-Cell-5 ran all of those seasons, until I decided to replace it this spring (2021) ... just in case it failed this year at the same time as the predicted CL shortage.

When I'm not taking care of my pool, or using it ... that's allowed right? ... I telecommute as a software project manager. That just means that I'm a problem solver, so I'll write a lot of words in my posts describing what I'm thinking and document my progress, findings, and results in a way that I hope helps avoid confusion and improve understanding for the reader, now and in the future. We'll see. Right now, the problem is outside my set of experiences ... so I've jumped in with both feet here on TFP. See ya 'round the pool.
