Could a bad motor be causing the pump to not pull water? How could I test that?

Yea I go to Aqua specialist here. They just raised price this year but it's 5 gallon of 12.5% for $18

this site is the best. No more pool store for me. My pool is looking great, without wasting huge dollars at the pool store. Its amazing the stuff they try to sell you in there.

anyone in central PA can get 5 gallons of 12.5% sodium hypochlorite from Aqua Specialist in mechanicsburg for $16, plus a 10 dollar deposit on the jug. Looks like they get it in quite often from a chemical dealer not far away who has it for commercial uses.

Hey guys, been at it hard for 2 weeks now. Really liking my results. Would have been sooner but my filters are slow. Almost there, just need a little clearing of the water. Got in over the weekend briefly while at shock level.

Thanks for the help. I too thought it was the filters. They probably need replaced but not doing that this year. I got the aqua comb this year, makes cleaning the cartridges a breeze. I think they could use a good acid bath.

When I start my pump it runs good and completely fills with water to the lid. I have great return pressure coming from the return jets. After a few hours of running my filter pressure goes from about a 9 to 15. During this time the flow coming from the return jets is much weaker and the pump...
