Thanks for all the info waste. I followed your directions and everything worked out. The only difference was that I have 4 bolts holding on the end cap. My leak is all gone!!

I am trying to replace the seal assembly in my Hayward SP 1610. I cant get to the impeller. The manual says to remove the motor end cover by removing two screws ( which i cannot find ) , or pry off the cap covering the motor shaft. I'm not sure what I am supposed to pry off and I don't want to...
