Ok. - What about what is considered "visually" correct in relation to a 6" tile. If the tile band starts just beneath the coping & the water level was at the halfway point of the mouth of the skimmer "ideally" where should this fall in relation to the tiles? Thanks

I'm in the process of having my pool renovated. They installed a 6" band of tile on top & just marble dusted. I filled the pool to a point approx 2/3 up the tiles as instructed. I noticed the water level has since dropped to maybe 1" up the tile just above the end of the marble dust. I's...
