Got it, and that's what I did, I added only 6 bags instead of the 8.5 pool math was telling me to add, that got me to 2900 ppm, I'll add 1 more and retest. Well be wiring the SWG this weekend but it's still somewhat cold here so not losing much FC yet

Crazy, I just tested it and it came up with 800ppm salt with just tap water.

Got it and yeah, I've learned that as long as she is happy my life is just easier so we got the pool plus our dogs love it since there isn't much for them to do durning summer here so it worked out.
