    BIRDS!!

Yes-- they are black birds. I think their nest is way up high in the leyland. It is probably 15 or 20 feet high. It seemed to me that they were making this an Olympic event. Grading each other on style points as they hoover and drop over the pool. Thanks. Going to see what to do about...

    BIRDS!!

I have never had this problem before. For some reason, birds have decided to use my pool this year as their own toilet. It might be a funny story later after I resolve this issue but what do I do to discourage them? We noticed last month when we took the cover off that there was an enormous...

closing-- Do I need a pillow?

Hey I am getting ready to close. :( I put a solid cover on. Do I really need one of those pillows? They seem to break each year and not do such a great job. Would I be better off to put my money into getting a good cover pump to keep the water from collecting on top? Thanks Suzanne

    questions about ph and shocking

Thanks-- Is the high ph and low TA a mystery? I thought that if the ph is high then the TA is high. Is that correct? Also with the dry acid how do I add it? broadcast into the pool, into the skimmer? Blessed

    questions about ph and shocking

My water looks beautiful. I have been testing and adding bleach-- about half gallon to 3/4 of a gallon nightly. I test TA almost nightly. It went down from 90 to 80-- so I checked the ph. I really hate the ph test as I am unsure about the color-- is there another ph test that is less...

    Chlorine Smell Why?

I notice that our swim suits smell of chlorine when my kids hang them to dry over the tub. I rinse them out and it goes away quick. I don't think the pool smells at all. We have the same .5 CC. I keep my pool at 4ppm FC-- cya is at 30. Blessed

    Should we convert?

I will weigh in a tell you that last year we spent over a $1,000. for Baqujunk. My water was horrible. At the end of the season we switched over to BBB- I bought so much bleach-- It was still less than $100. If I were you starting with new water-- I would run to the bleach bottle. you are so...
