    Questions about set up

Your tarp theory to cover/even out the seams makes sense. I used a tarp underneath the styrene but not on top. I don't recall being able to feel the seems and I know I couldn't see them. If you already have the tarp I would use it, I like the idea of it. One word of caution as you are laying...

    Questions about set up

There's no need for the tarp with the styrene. My experience with sand is that it moves and shifts and washes out. You can buy 2" styrene or dig your paver in. Maybe someone else has had better luck with sand than I have and can help you out with that. You still have a couple days to...

Help my daughter has a rash!

Received my TF-100 on Saturday. Results were very similar to the strips. Good news is the rash cleared up before I even received the TF-100 and it hasn't returned. (it may not have been the pool). I am very pleased with the test kit, glad I had a reason to purchase it. I do have one...

Help my daughter has a rash!

Help my daughter has a rash!

This is my first year doing the BBB method. My 8 year old daughter develops a rash every time she gets in the pool. I'm thinking it must be the Borax. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to get it out? Ph 7.6, Cl 3ppm, CYA 35, Alkalinity 75

    upgrading from 10 ft Intex

I used 2'x4' foot sheets and many rolls of tape under my pool. It worked great but took a long time. Bigger sheets are faster but if the price is right on the small ones- go for it. BTW you made the right choice going with the larger pool. Pumps can always be upgraded! Upgrading the pool- not...
