Did you do pavers under the legs? I’m thinking pavers under each leg level with ground and then the tarp. If I would go with the foam board you just put it under the liner and not the legs correct? How thick of foam did you use?

So that’s one thing I was going to ask. Is it ok to use chlorine tablets to build cya just like in the pool? People keep telling me it’s bad for the tub shell. The tub may go a few days at a time with out the cover being opened. I also added a bit of baking soda to bring the ta up some.

I got the purge done and ran into another problem. One of the diverter valve bodys had a crack and had to be replaced. Finally got the parts and I’m starting on the water balancing again.

I found a local dealer about 2 miles from my house that has the ahh-some on the shelf. I’m going to pick up some tomorrow and try it out.

Wondering if I should flush the system and drain and refill. I also read about using white vinegar to kill biofilm. The water is very clear and I get no foam when using the jets.

I did not purge the spa. I did clean out the plumbing by flushing clean waterand bleach through the pipes. If I add baking soda won’t the ph go even higher? How do I get the ph lower with out lowering the ta? I would like the add Borates but should I get the water balanced before I add it?

I guess the water is not as balanced as I thought. Just went back out and checked and ph has went back up to 8. Added more acid we will see where is goes.
