Intelliflo lost communication to EasyTouch 8

Jim, The pump is pretty old. The previous homeowner built the pool, so I would say at least 8-10 years old. What's life expectancy? I'm replacing motors in the Whisperflo waterfall pumps currently as the bearings are getting loud.

Intelliflo lost communication to EasyTouch 8

Well I pulled the plug and blew air on the female and male ends, plugged it back in snug and all seems to be good. Thank you for all the advise. I guess something got corroded in there or something. Maybe some contact cleaner is needed.

Intelliflo lost communication to EasyTouch 8

Yes I can turn all waterfall pumps, lights, etc. on with Screenlogic. I'll try the pins in the connector and make sure they're ok.

I removed the cable and re-connected it securely. It is connected at ET panel securely as well. ET is in AUTO mode. On my inside panel I went the the menu to try and reset the system but that didn't work.

Pool mode works fine, water flows into the hot tub and spills over fine, but as soon as you hit spa mode, air is introduced into the pump...

    Sta-Rite heater won't stay lit

So I have repaired the rusted corroded area and sealed everything off and it is still not staying lit. It is now acting different than before however. Now it will fire up and stay lit for about 10-15 seconds and then go out. Before I repaired the corroded area (JB Weld) it would at least stay...

    Sta-Rite heater won't stay lit

I figured that was the case when I saw the corrosion and fire showing through. Just curious... is this whats making it shut down? Or could it be something else and just a matter of time before the corrosion gets worse? I can't even get it to turn on now. I will replace the heater. Sta-bil or...

    Sta-Rite heater won't stay lit

There is nothing blinking on the Fenwall. It heats up for a few minutes then clicks off, and LED8 blinks yellow on the control board until it fires back up ~ 15 seconds later.
