maxepr1 it already has a plug in it I think (I don't know alot about this) because when you look inside it has a black cover on the inside with two little spike in the middle sticking out. The leak is coming from the seam.

Re: I have a leak......AGAIN!! We replaced the spider gasket last year and still had the leak. We had to have our liner replaced so I showed the leak to the pool guy who put some silicone sealant on it. I noticed today that its leaking again. Do they make a plug for this port? It looks like it...

let me know what your pool guy has to say. I found the same thing today in the corner that keeps pulling away.

I have water leaking from my multi-port valve from the extra port that has a plug in it. Do I need to just replace the spider gasket or can you replace the plug maybe? if so how? Thanks!!

This picture may help a little better. The round thing that is leaking looks like maybe you could have had the backwash line ran from this side but I could be wrong. How do I fix this?

I just found out that I have a leak at the valve but I am not sure just what part this is called or how to fix it. I will try to see if I can get the picture to post....I am new to all this. Thanks, Betsy

I feel the same way, I bet we could have paid for another liner and then some because we have a ton of that junk still in the pool shed but yet our pool has never looked so clear and pretty as it does now thanks to finding TFP and doing the "BBB" :lol:

I am in South Carolina and they took it back but they did check to see if it had been opened.

I have been doing the BBB method for little over a week and have been shocking for a couple of days, pool is so clear, I think its the best since we purchased the house two years ago. Hubby went to return some of the un-open junk we had from the pool store and he said as a cover up for getting...

If it starts to hold and the FC is not dropping how long do I need to hold it at this level? I have noticed its not taking at much bleach to keep it at 31 but I am testing every hour and adding. Can I add too much bleach? Its a good thing I got the FT100 XL test kit when I ordered :lol:

night before last my FC dropped from 7 to 5 so I asked about shocking and was told to do it at dark. Last night I put in 5.5 jugs (174 oz) of bleach to get my FC to 31 wait an hour reading was 40 so I did not add anything. Next hour 35, next hour 29.5 so I added more bleach (2 quarts & 1 cup)...

I just put in 985 oz of bleach to shock level. From what I read I check the FC in an hour and then I check it an hour later. How many times do I do this? I know I have to keep the FC to 28 but I am not sure for how long?
