oh got it, thanks. The pool surface is pebbletec. Would your suggestion be the same (chip off the epoxy with possibly some pebbletec)? I have a pebble patch kit.

Chip off the epoxy with some plaster? Can you elaborate what “with some plaster” entails?

Here's a wider angle photo of what we're looking at. If you're looking out from the spa and towards the pool, it's the left side of this photo. You'll see white and gray pool epoxy putty along the line where the tile meets the pebbletech.

Its pool epoxy putty applied over the grout where tile meets pebble tech. I’ll try to get a better photo.

yea, I think the grout line below the tile is also missing grout. What do you think about using Sikaflex to fill it in?

12 hours after the last post. The water is around the same level. I removed the plug and this is how it looks like. I’m fairly certain there are gaps around this threaded pipe that’s letting water out. What do you think? How should I seal it?
