About the cya, did just add alot of water?? about 6-8 inches in this pool,can't calc the gallons,,got oldtimers!!!lol

Vacuumed till I had to resupply the water. Tested the tap water with strips for Giggles. it showed good on everything except TA and CYA. WELL :roll: cant get to pool store for testing the water so here goes. and AGAIN I Know, test strips show and basing b-twixt colors on some?? Total hardness-...

AND after I do that, before we do anything, we can get a sample and take to the pool store so I can post some good numbers for Recommendations from you guys. I think that will be our best route as we dont have a good tet kit and I think trying to do it with the strips will not be a good idea!
