So I have some sand on the bottom of my pool near the return. I vac'ed it and it looks like it is clearly filter sand. There is not a ton, but I am thinking that any is an issue. Is there an easy solution to this or should I be contacting the filter vendor to see if I can replace under warranty?

New fill this week and I am in the process of adding CYA (about 10 ppm now). My pH is at 7.2 right now with a TA of 90. Should I be adding soda ash now or wait until I add another 2 pounds of CYA? On a related note, where do you buy soda ash and how do you add it? I have been doing sock method...

Just turned on my heat pump yesterday. Went from 68 to 81 in less than 12 hours and ambient temperature was less than 76 degrees (high humidity). So I glad I went that route!

I have the same issue on my ABG that was installed yesterday. I also had a message with the liner slipping though. Pool store sent me a new liner today

Thanks for the advice guys. Just came back home and saw that the liner had slipped down in a spot and there is a wet spot in the sand not far from it. Looks like I may not be done with the installer yet after all. :(

Ok, the pool store gave me some, along with tri-chlor tabs that I'm afraid to use :) Ok to add stabilzer before I have pump running or should I just wait until Monday?

Ok, i thought that it seemed kind of high. So in pool math it looks like I need to add about a quart of 10% right now since I am going from 0 to a target of 2.1.
