I am dealing with an issue with a pool supply company who will not admit they are wrong. Question to all above ground pool owners with overlap liners: How much overlap do you have on the outside of your pool after the liner has been installed?

Aha! I always just put the vac hose straight into the opening of the skimmer after removing the basket, never used the vac plate.

Thanks I am going to try the sock on the return suggestion. Why would you put a skimmer sock on the skimmer when you remove the skimmer anyway to connect the vacuum hose? That has me puzzled?
