Alright here is my current results. I am still new to the testing so I did my best. Pool is still crystal clear. FC: 3 CC: 1 CYA: 30 pH: 7.2 CH: 325 TA 130-140 (Felt it started changing color at 13 but was full on at 14, not sure which to go with?) I haven't added chlorine since this morning...

Yes, the water is crystal clear. But, it's still dropping chlorine. I will do a full set of tests again this evening and post where I stand now. And I'll do the overnight test to see what type of chlorine I lost over night. My CC was down from 1 to 0.5 this morning.

Gotcha! Well last time pool store (excuse me for cussing like that, ha!) checked it. It was like a 7.1. Thanks again guys for the help!

Thanks Agent for suggestion. I went and retested. I started the sock method to add some CYA last night. From what I've read it takes a few days for that to show. But, after shaking the solution first. If i was estimating exact numbers, I would say my CYA went from a 22 to a 25.

I have 4 fountains. One at each corner of the rectangle pool. My spa is separate from the pool. Btw, did you get my PM?

Alright guys. This was my first attempt at doing them all but followed instructions! CYA 30 FC 3 C1 1 TC 4 TA 150-160 CH 425 I have been adding liquid chlorine every so often to try to maintain at least some chlorine levels while waiting for kit. Holding chlorine for at least 12 hours now...

Thanks pabeader. Hope people will excuse my knowledge on pools. After this last experience at pool store I hope to not have to return. This test kit is kind of fun. I'm a pharmacist and this kind of takes me back to college chemistry class! :)

Thanks guys. I got my kit today. Will run the tests after work to see where I stand. I did do the CYA on my lunch break and it was a 22.
