That's the bottom of the old skimmer. The dark line was a crack that i tried to seal from the inside, not going to have to worry about that now ;)

This is driving me nuts lol I've looked up and down google for reviews on that light kit and cant find anything. Hate to spend a grand and find out they are **** in a year.

Ok so I started cutting and got to thinking, once i cut out all my coping, I will have to remove and drain the pool first. my main concern is that the pool will be empty for about a week. Stair refinishing new coping and new cement to the edge. Am I ok to leave the pool empty that long? Worried...
