is it ok to run the pump while raining? I did add some cya in a sock hung from empty bleach bottle. and had to add bleach twice today. the pool definatly looks night and day from yesterday and I dont want to have to stop because of the rain

I know. im seriously considering getting a pair of waders and getting in there to do it. otherwise ill probabaly have to drain the pool and just not use it this season.

it is probably inbetween, and I just told my husband and he said absolutely no draining whatsoever. so I dont know I guess ill have to shut the pump off overnight and run it all day tomorow and just keep backwashing. and using the leaf rake.

well I guess if u think about it. if i keep having to backwash the pool its the same as draining it . not all the way but still losing alot of water. then ill need to fill it back up, just to be able to run the pump so maybe we will have to drain it.

I have a taylor test kit. but we arent going to drain the pool to get the rest of the gunk out. mostly because my husband refuses to drain and refill. my main concern is the pump not running correctly idk if its because its getting to clogged or something.
