    Black gummy stuff in at water line in strainer

    I have black gummy stuff at water line in strainer. I clean it up everyday only to find it back the next day. I am using baquacil chemicals with a sand filter. Pool is 24ft x 54". Why is this happening and how do I stop it?

    I have installed a new above ground pool 24ft x 54" 2 weeks ago. Weather gets hot here in NC. I am using Baquacil chemicals in the pool.
