    You're doing it right. My pool is close to the same size as yours, and it takes the sand filter a long while to clean out all the dead algae. You can check out the photos in this thread: opening-my-pool-to-a-green-swamp-t46519.html Just keep at it :goodjob:

    I already did that, received it yesterday. Will add 2 gal of liquid shock tonight, will try and test it in the AM before heading to work, but I can't promise anything on that. :sleep:

    Took a sample to the pool store over Memorial Day Weekend, got the handwritten test results mentioned above, which were: Problem: Green FC: TC: no pH: low - OK TA: 40 CH: 90 CYA:ok They had me add 15# Alkalinity+ (broadcast 4# at a time every 3 hrs), 42# of Calcium (deicer type), 9 Gal of...
