New pool owner here... Newly built pool and just today Dove down to see the suction power of 2 drains and couldn't feel any suction. The valves were all open so I haven't tried when both skimmer valves. Any thoughts?

Welcome to TFP!
Unless your pump is fairly large, or you remove the protective covers, you shouldn't feel much suction from a main drain. Of course, that doesn't mean that everything was working correctly.
I suggest trying again with the skimmer(s) turned off.

Thanks, that makes sense. Pool installers coming tomorrow will also ask them.
