Hubby and I will soon have our "new to us" pool balanced and ready to close (we bought a used Abg just a few weeks ago).

We're going to close it ourselves and have a center drain we need to use antifreeze on...

I've looked at RV antifreeze and know that's what you all talk about using... but at our local hardware store they sold RV Plus which was essentially antifreeze with some other "inhibitors" as well. Not knowing what the other "inhibitors" were bothered me a bit. Should I be looking for something without this?

What I found is made by Zecol. It's Propylene Glycol and the inhibitor is ethanol. You probably don't need the inhibitor but it won't hurt anything.

Thanks for the quick response. What we've found didn't say what the "inhibitor" agent was... so got me wondering what I might be putting in my pool.
