What can I / should I put on the connectors to my salt water cell to keep the electrical connections clean and trouble free and to prevent corrosion?

Do you happen to have a picture of the connections you are mentioning? I don't think you should have connections exposed to the weather elements, but if you are experiencing condensation or some other type of moisture, I would think you could use an automotive battery type of lubricant to protect the connectors...even white lithium grease would do the trick.

don't use white lithium grease on the contact areas as it's non-conductive.

use Carbon Conductive Grease instead
