That's the cleanest concrete I've seen.

You're done shocking when:
1)You lose 1ppm or less FC overnight, & 2)You have .5ppm CC's or less, & 3)your water is clear.

It looks great, but I think it would look better with a few bikini babes.

My daughter for the last several years brought home college roommates/girlfriends for the spring opening- I miss them this year!
Your pool does look really nice!

That's quite a unique diving board.

Thanks to all for the kind words. We love the pool and our staycations. Diving board is a "diving platform" I've been told, has no spring to it at all. And you should see the concrete now, since it was powerwashed...almost blinding. Heavy Pool Deck out of NYC did it 4 years ago and they did a great job.

Local high school kids like it too, so much that the other morning I came out to all of my pool furniture, potted plants, etc gently arranged on the bottom of the pool. Did it in the dead of night 'cuz we were swimming unitl 10 PM. Pretty sure it was the soon-to-be-a-senior daughter's friends, it being senior prank time. I would have laughed, but it being a vinyl pool I was going a little crazy. Alls eems to be OK, though.
