The Cell Status light on my Intellichlor is not a steady green or a flashing red. Its not lit up at all, I assume that means its not generating Chlorine due to water temp? thx, SR

If your cell light is out, it's not making chlorine. This is pretty normal when your water temp gets below about 60 degrees. Many people recommend you just use chlorine in the off-season.

cell light will also normally be off if you have something managing the intellichlor and telling it when to run (e.g. intellichem/orp controller) - Our ic60's cell light is normally only on for roughly 1hr/day.

FWIW, we've had several days in the 50's and the IC40 Cell light is on (4 green LED's), unless 5 Green, it's turned off due to low temp(s).
