Hi I have an inground vinyl liner pool installed in 2007. Live in Canada and very cold in winter. The pool base has developed 3 areas where the base has shifted over the winter, creating a "crack" where the base drops off about 1/2 to 1 inch. The liner is fine, and simply adjusts to the area where the base is now uneven.

Is this a problem that I should be concerned about? As I said the liner simply stretches a bit to accomodate the area.

The builder is no longer in the picture.

Any help or advice?

Thanks

Keep an eye on it and note if the area continues to collapse. Check the ground around the pool area and see if the drop extends beyond the pool.
