Check all the levels this morning at 8:15 am: FC-8 CC-.5 PH-7.4 TA-100 CH-90 CYA-20 or less-could still slightly see the black dot with the tube completely full.
I have granular shock. Can I raise my CYA using that? Back to the op's issue. The vast majority of the time, cloudy water means dirty water. Most often water full of algae, or dead algae. Bring your CYA level up to 30 and start shocking. The quicker you do this....the quicker the pool will clear up. Have you tried the OCLT yet? This too will show you JUST how much chlorine your pool is using to fight off any garbage that's living in your pool.
